Hello, I'm Sarah
My name is Sarah Horsman and I have been a part of DSNNN since 2012. I started as a volunteer on the Buddy Walk committee, when I had the privilege of working with numerous families who have children with Down syndrome through my career in early intervention services and I joined the board in 2018. In 2016, I became an adoptive parent to my son Isaiah, born with Down syndrome. I continue to work in the field of early intervention services and volunteer time in the both the disabilities and LGBTQIA communities. I am passionate about inclusion and equity. I am a double alumni from UNR with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I enjoying cooking, NFL and Nevada football, hanging out with friends, going on walks with Isaiah, reality TV shows, and visiting my family in CA.
