Hello, I'm Samantha

I am excited to be on the board with DSNNN. 

I became a mother of my EXTRAordinary son Izaac in 2010.I am a wife to my husband Steven and a mother of 5, Isaiah (14) Izaac (13) Sophia (12) Aliyah (12) and Sophie (8) and our furry child Marvel. I am excited to bring more awareness for the Hispanic community and any other parents here in Washoe. I have started to be more active on social media spreading awareness and kindness. I have gone through the highs and lows when it comes to medical , education and anything else that comes along with the diagnosis of having a child with special needs and I want to be a voice for those who need it when they are feeling lost on where to start. I have a fire inside for inclusion and acceptance that I can’t wait to ignite for my community.  

 

I am a California girl who moved to Reno and fell in love with all that it has to offer.  We spend our summers in Tahoe and poolside and when you don’t catch us there we are at in n out with Izaac because our boy lives for his fries and soda.
